About GetActress
GetActress is a free casting platform that connects actors with casting directors. We gather open film, series, commercial and theatre castings from dozens of sources and bring them together in one place, so performers don't have to manually track hundreds of groups and chats.
Why we built it
Roles open and close fast, and the information about them is scattered across private chats, social networks and closed databases. For a beginner it is hard to know where to apply and what a fair offer looks like. We want role discovery to be transparent and honest: to show real castings, mark the format and pay, and help people without an agent find work.
How it works
- An actor creates a free profile with photos, height, type and skills — an online business card.
- We match suitable castings to the actor's type and surface only the relevant roles.
- Applying takes one click, with no commissions and no paywalls on the basic features.
- A casting director posts a role and receives applications with structured profiles.
